Common Concerns About Bojin Facial
Facials · 27 December 2024

Is it painful? Are Bojin facials meant to be pain-free? The honest answers to the questions we hear most.
Bojin is a traditional technique that works the fascia and meridian points of the face with a contoured tool. Because it looks unfamiliar, most first-time guests arrive with the same handful of questions.
Is a Bojin facial painful?
It should not be. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort, and you are welcome to ask your therapist to lighten it at any point. A sensation of firm, warming pressure is normal; sharp pain is not.
Will my face be red afterwards?
Light warmth or flushing can occur and generally settles within the hour. It is a normal response to increased circulation.
How is it different from a regular facial?
A conventional facial largely works on the skin surface. Bojin works with the structures beneath it — the fascia and meridian pathways — which is why guests often describe the release as being deeper than skin level.
