Guasha is one of the oldest skincare rituals in Asia. Here is what to realistically expect from session one.
Guasha facial is one of the ancient skincare rituals still practised today, using a smooth-edged tool along the meridian lines of the face.
Immediately after
Skin usually looks warmer, brighter and slightly more defined along the jaw and cheekbones. Light flushing is common and settles quickly.
The next morning
This is when most guests notice the difference — a face that looks less puffy and better rested, particularly around the eyes.
After a course
Guasha is cumulative rather than dramatic. Fortnightly sessions at first, then monthly maintenance, is the rhythm most of our Singapore guests settle into.
